Features

Built with care for AI-era document delivery.

  • Editable conversion path

Instead of flattening the PDF, FlowDoc creates a structured text workflow that can be edited before Word export.

  • Private browser processing

PDF parsing and DOCX generation run locally. Your documents are not uploaded to a server.

  • Made for text PDFs

Best for reports, papers, contracts, manuals, and other PDFs that contain selectable text.

When to use

Real-world scenarios where FlowDoc saves you time.

  • Turn reports into Word drafts

Extract PDF report text, clean headings, and export an editable DOCX for team revisions.

  • FlowDoc uses a safer two-step workflow: PDF to Markdown first, then Markdown to Word. This gives you an editable intermediate draft instead of a black-box conversion.

  • Not directly. The current tool works with PDFs that contain selectable text. Scanned documents need OCR first, then you can process the recognized text in FlowDoc.

  • FlowDoc focuses on editable document structure: headings, paragraphs, lists, and readable text. Complex visual layout, exact columns, and scanned images may need manual adjustment.

  • No. PDF parsing and Word export happen in your browser. FlowDoc does not upload, store, or inspect your document content.
